Scope and Content A general view of the golf course under construction. In the trees centre left the site of the now largely vanished medieval Castle Heather(Leather). In the centre of the picture a ring ditch has been recorded and in the fields top centre a roundhouse, pits and other features. Similarly, in the field lowest right, just beyond the houses, a palisaded enclosure and associated features were discovered.
