Scope and Content In the foreground is Brora links, originally a 5 hole course created for fishermen and tradesmen, still in use. Towards the right is the site of the colliery and salt works. Mining started in 1598 until 1975. there is the remnant of a lime kiln. The railway seen in the foreground crosses the river Bora on a bridge built for the Duke of Sutherland's railway in 1870-71. Beside is the old Brora bridge 1801. There are numerous other references. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
