Scope and Content The dominating summits of Sgurr nan Gillean and Ainshval (L) and Askival (R) flank Glen Dibidil which slopes down to a break in the rocky shoreline. The Glen has the site of a pre-clearance settlement, while inland is a group of shieling huts. To the right, the terrain dips towards Loch Scresort, which is out of view, but a pale yellow coastal patch within shot may be the former township of Bagh na h-Uamha or An Uamh ("the cave"). A 7th-8th C cross-slab, found in beach shingle there, has been re-erected nearby. A coastal cave and midden nearby has yielded a number of finds, including Iron Age pottery.
