Scope and Content Portmhomack is an old fishing village. Tarbat Old Parish Church is the long white building at centre, surrounded by a white wall. The green field beyond it was excavated between 1994 and 2007 revealing a farming settlement, then a Pictish Monastic site. The Free Church of Scotland building is behind the caravans at the front of the photo. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
