Scope and Content Derry Lodge can just be seen among the trees at right of centre. Basically it’s a C19 hunting lodge which has been added to at various times during the late C19 and C20. Most recently it was used by the Cairngorm Club, but the lease was given up in 1967, since when the building has been abandoned. Nearby, to the left in this photo, there are remains of a farmstead and other buildings at Luibeg. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
