Scope and Content In this view Island Bank Road runs along the bottom of the picture. Drummond Crescent runs from centre left to centre right while the road continues into Stratherrick Road, running up to top right. Drummond Circus is at top left. There are several large mansions in this area, including Brae Rannoch (towards top right) which is occupied by L'Arche Highland and Rosedene (centre left) which from 1940-1951 acted as a maternity hospital. In recent years it has been a children's home, an architect's office and a beauty salon. It is now (2020) being converted into apartments. Next to Rosedene is Rosedene Court, which was established as a sheltered housing complex. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
