Scope and Content This is a view of the Dornoch Bridge under construction. It was built as part of the improvements to the A9 and was opened in 1991. The Ness of Portnaculter runs from centre left to centre and the Meikle Ferry ran between a pier at this point to Meikle Ferry on the north side of the Dornoch Firth.
