Scope and Content This is a view of the SW end of Loch Duntelchaig on the east side of Loch Ness, which can be seen at top right. Loch Ruthven is at centre left and Loch Ceo Glais is just right of centre. In the distance towards top centre are Loch Farraline and Loch Mhor. There are several prehistoric and other sites in the area covered by this photo. Loch nan Geadas is the offshoot of Loch Duntelchaig on the right and there is a substantial settlement in that area at Torr an Daimh. There is a crannog, just visible, on Loch Ruthven.
