Scope and Content The nearest bridge is the Findhorn viaduct built in 1894-97 to carry the Highland Railway over the river Findhorn. It is over 400m long , with 9 spans of steel lattice girders on tapering stone piers, designed by Murdoch Paterson and John Fowler. It is Cat B listed. The viaduct behind is Tomatin road Bridge which carries the re routed A9 over the Findhorn, built in the mid 70s. In the foreground, the higher ground, is the site of Morilemore prehistoric field system with field boundaries and lynchets. At bottom R is the cruck-framed Morilemore Farm, with it's three-sided steading. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
