Scope and Content Cawdor village is in the centre with many Canmore and HER references to the buildings, school, cottages. The Castle is to the right. It is mostly 17c with a keep from c. 1454. Originally owned by the Calders, then Campbells of Calders and now Earl of Cawdor, it is still inhabited and in excellent condition. There is a walled garden.
