Scope and Content A collection of photographs of buildings and archaeological sites on Mull and its neighbouring islands, mostly taken 1970-94. Subjects include schools at Torloisg and Croggan, Gruline House and Lochbuie House, cottage at Ishriff, Aros Old Bridge, and rural settlement remains including kiln-barns and shielings. The collection also includes a number of earlier photographs, including Anna Cnoc an Teine, Gometra,and Aros, 1927-1938.
Archive History The collection comprises material both lent for copying and donated to RCAHMS by Mrs Douglass. Colour slides of Allt a'Chlogaid were lent to RCAHMS for copying as a Survey of a Private Collection, and accessioned as Acc No 1994/577.
