Scope and Content Stone circle at Strontoiller, Lorn, Argyll and Bute This stone circle is one of three monuments standing close together in Glen Lonan. Stone circles are quite rare in Argyll and this is one of the easier to get to. The other monuments are a standing stone and a cairn. This plan shows the layout of the circle. The stones are not all that large, but there are 31 of them. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
