Scope and Content Written on the back of the mounted print: ‘Shire: Fife. Place: Dysart. Building: Bay Horse Inn – The Shore’. Photographer: ‘J.P.’ Date: ‘Nov 1964’ Entrance to pend, rear block, Bay House, 1 Panha', Dysart, Fife Bay House was built in 1583 for Patrick Sinclair during the time when there was still a pier on Panha'. It was restored in 1969 by The National Trust for Scotland. This square-headed doorway opens on a pend through the rear block to the courtyard (right). It bears the inscription: MY HOIP IS IN THE LORD 1583. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
