Scope and Content The collection comprises photographic copies of drawings of banks held by Clydesdale Bank including numerous designs for branches in the North East and North of Scotland, designs for the Town and County Bank, Aberdeen by Archibald Simpson 1826, a design by an unidentified architect, a design probably by David Hamilton 1839, designs for the unexecuted building by Archibald Simpson 1839, designs for subsequent alterations by James Matthews 1871 and William Kelly 1924, etc. NMRS Jubilee Guide, 1991.
