Scope and Content Machine Tool processes: Boring, Measuring the bore final to taking the final cut: Cameron Lawrie, retired engineer. Make a coupling for crankshaft. One half of the coupling placed in three lathe chuck to allow boring out to suit the shaft. The cutting tool is mounted on the right and moves. The piece being worked is held stationery (left).
