Scope and Content This 26-page document sets out a scheme to effect an archaeological field project centred on the battlefield at Culloden Moor, most of which is in the ownership of the National Trust for Scotland. it will deploy a number of techniques including topographic, geophysical,and metal detector surveys, and limited excavation. The project is intended to shed light on the archaeological character, condition and extent of the battlelfield, testing a number of suppositions about the events related to the battle, and providing a useful resource in the continued management and interpretation of the site. Submitted to the National Trust for Scotland , Historic Scotland and the Highland Region Archaeologist.
