Scope and Content Undated ink drawings annotated 'Arbroath Abbey - mostly from stones about the principal entrance' and 'Inverquiech Castle, Alyth, was occupied of Edward I in 1296. It was a ruin in 1394, when Robt II granted it to his nephew James of Lindsay, by whom it had probably been restored or made habitable. (Land of Lindsays p.285)'.
