Scope and Content A gelatine dry plate negative in good condition, of the front of a cast of the Class II sculptured stone, the Nigg Cross Slab. The casts of the Nigg Cross were exhibited in the Edinburgh Museum of Science and Art and in the South Kensington Museum, London. The negative shows the cast in the context of the Edinburgh Museum of Science and Art. The photograph is fig. 72 on page 76 of J. Romilly Allen's Early Christian Monuments of Scotland. The negative was number 29 in box 6 in the original order.
