Scope and Content The field notebook by A. C. S. Dixon contains notes and drawings of sites predominantly in Argyll. The sites recorded are mainly burial grounds, tombs, effigies and crosses. The notebook refers to, amongst other sites; tombs and ecclesiastical monuments at St. Clements Church, Rodel Harris; effigies at Oronsay Priory; effigies at Kilmory Chapel; Macmillan's Cross at Kilmory Chapel and an effigy of Saint Mackessog at Kilmartin.
