Scope and Content Batch of 118 glass lantern slides of dovecots in Scotland and Northumerland. The majority have not been dated.

Access Conditions There are no restrictions upon access except for conservation reasons. All the lantern slides have been digitised and are available online.

Administrative History Glass lantern slides collected by G A G Peterkin who attributed them to Mr Lumgair, Selkirk, however it is not known if he was the photographer. Andrew Gray Lumgair (1856 – 1911) was a Borders woollen manufacturer.
