Scope and Content Fortlet at Castle Greg, West Lothian This fortlet is at Castle Greg and is built just S of the summit of Camilty Hill. It is well preserved and may indicate a existence of a minor Roman road to the W of the Pentland Hills. No such road is yet known however. This is an aerial view of the site. The fortlet can be seen in the middle of the image. The site is well preserved with the rampart and ditches still visible. The fortlet has the typical Roman shape of a rectangle with rounded corners.
