Administrative History The typescript handlist which accompanied the drawings on their deposit with RCAHMS summarised them as follows: '467 Drawings and plans of prehistoric and some later monuments, by Christian Maclagan. Nos. 50-71 are published in her Hill Forts... of Ancient Scotland, 1875; nos 72-3 in her Chips from Old Stones, 1881; and no.74 in PSAS, iii. These have not been indexed, and are arranged in the order in which they appear in the aforesaid volumes. Presented by Ian Mackintosh, Montrose.'
