Scope and Content Thanks Petrie for taking him to see the Stones of Stenness. Hopes that Petrie can interest Dr Rae in Dr Daikie's journals: 'Without someone to stir up the family there is little hope of any thing being done until too late'. Dasent does not know when his translation of Orkneyinga Saga will be published: 'Lazy man!'
