Description Main building, courtyard between blocks C and D, second phase, elevated view from N. The structure of the building (despite replaced windows) can be seen clearly: concrete frame with pre-cast holes for brackets etc., brick infill and maximum glazing. The lift shaft is visible on the right. This would have been big enough to take raw materials between floors. Larger lift shafts were built onto the the south facade and these would have carried cars from floor to floor during manufacture.
