Scope and Content Handwritten text of 'Notes of cromlechs, duns, hut-circles, chambered cairns, and other remains, in the county of Sutherland', by James Horsburgh of Lochmalony, published in PSAS 7 (1866-8), 271-9, but with sketches of sites which were not published. Five double pages. Page 1, chambered cairn at Grumbeg, view of chamber with figure. Page 2, cross-slab known as the Red Priest's Grave near Skail. Page 3, plan of two hut circles near Grumbeg.
