Administrative History John Bridgeford Pirie, architect, (1852-1890), best known for his work in partnership with Arthur Clyne (1852-1923). Pirie and Clyne produced buildings of a distinctive style across Northeast Scotland, including Queen's Cross Church, Aberdeen, Macduff Town Hall and St Palladius' Episcopal Church, Drumtochty. His son Bridgeford MacDougall Pirie (1877-1941) also practised as an architect.
