Scope and Content A pocket notebook containing notes and sketches compiled by A O Curle during the first season of fieldwork by RCAHMS recording the archaeological sites and historic buildings of Berwickshire. The information compiled in the course of this fieldwork provided the basis for the RCAHMS publication, Inventory of monuments and constructions in the county of Berwick (1909) and a subsequent edition (1915).
