Scope and Content Standing stones at Ballinaby, Islay, Argyll and Bute There are two standing stones at Ballinaby to the N of Loch Gorm. One of these is very impressive due to its height. The second stone, 200 m away to the N is now broken. This is a view of the taller, SW, stone. It is one of the tallest in Scotland and in unusually thin, being only 0.3 m at the base.
