A piece of hazel charcoal (Sample EWE46) from the charcoal rich fill 1478 of a pit / post-hole 1479 within a pit / post defined enclosure. Pit 1478 cut into subsoil and was sealed by 002. The carbonised remains are considered to represent portions of a structure comprising oak uprights holding wattle creating an enclosure.
