C14 Radiocarbon Dating - Sample - SRR-647

Charcoal at base of flat bottomed oval pit (LY 74 BF 12/5 B12) 1.2m by 1m, 0.2m deep; fill above this had much pottery in its uppermost layers; same context as SRR646 (4290 +/- 50 BP). The residue of the sample consisted of oak, hazel and possibly ash charcoal.
