The outer 10 rings of a piece of waterlogged wood (T001), half split oak, possible plank, 0.68 m long and 0.12 m wide. The wood was recoveredáfrom a layer of organic material, including other timbers, smaller sticks and pieces of wood. The organic layer was sealed below layers of large and small stones and a layer of silty sand. The excavation trench was located underwater on the north-east side of the possible crannog site.á
