AA-51384

A charred naked barley grain S.3 from an ash spread 029 around hearth 018 in a probably Early Neolithic house 4. The house was represented by an extremely truncated set of features present on the E side of the ditch, and probably shared the N-S alignment of House 1. It sat on a mound of ash, burnt stones and midden which seemed to extend south from the entrance to House 3, a house similar to that at Knap of Howar. The pottery from this house was round-based bowl.
