There is a cairn, 62ft in diameter and 8 ft high, on a slight ridge some 300 yds S of the "tumuli" described on NX99SW 12. Excavations have been made in it at one or two places, but no cist or chamber has been reached.
RCAHMS 1920, visited 1912
NX 9435 9146. A well-preserved cairn on the crest of a slight ridge is 19.5m in diameter and 2.3m high. It has been dug into in the east but no burial has been exposed.
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
