This long rectangular-plan range once served as the coach house and stables for Eccles House. Built in the first half of the nineteenth century, parts of the stable block have now been converted into domestic accommodation, although many original features survive.
There is a square-plan clock tower at the centre of the roof above arched carriage-openings. The outermost wings of the range were originally single-storeyed, but have both been raised to form two-storeyed cottages.
Although this building has undergone many changes, a number of original features survive, including pigeon flight-holes and the clock tower. Part of the stable interior also dates from the nineteenth century; timber stalls and original iron railings are amongst the survivals.
