(Location cited as NJ 728 260). Pitcaple Castle. Air photography (AAS/88/07/S12/3, flown 3 August 1988) has recorded a possible circular cropmark, with traces of a rectangular feature within it, in arable ground on a slight NE-facing slope above the River Urie and at an altitude of about 70m OD.
