Field Visit (21 April 1989)

NO23NE 1.02 2529 3738.

A large slab, formerly a roofing stone of the central passage of the souterrain complex and now leaning against the collapsed passage-wall, bears at least seventeen cupmarks on its upper surface. The slab measures 1.5m in length by 0.85m in breadth and 0.23m in thickness; the cupmarks are up to 60mm in diameter.
