Activities

Photographic Survey (September 2017)

Slessor Gardens, a new urban space between Caird Hall and the waterfront created as part of Dundee City Waterfront masterplan, has been photographed as a general record upgrade. To the eastern and western edges of the park a number of small plots have been created to contain themed gardens or pavilions - the log pavilion being designed by architect of the adjacent V&A museum, Kengo Kuma. Discovery Walk, a series of plaques celebrating a number of scientific or social achievements by those who have lived or worked in the city, is also sited within the gardens. The park is named after the Dundee missionary, Mary Slessor.
