A stone built monument to the RAF 'Dallachy Strike Wing' has been erected in a layby on the E side of Bogmoor Road imemdiately N of the entrance to the airfield.
The monument consists of a random rubble irregular shaped wall with the Squadron badges and a descriptive panel commemorating the military personnel who served at the base.
