NMRS REFERENCE:

Mid 18th C. Mansion. Medium size. Central block with wings

Owner: Edinburgh Town Council

(Undated) information in NMRS.

Middleton House Built 1710 with later 19th c. additions. A very good example of its period.

SDD List 1964

Now a conference centre and residential camp. No evidence of the earlier 1710 structure is visible.

Visited by OS (RD), 17 February 1970.
