A township comprising four unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, one partially roofed long building, one roofed building, which is annotated as Free Church (NR57SW 6), three enclosures, a sheepfold and a head-dyke is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1882, sheet clxxxviii).

One unroofed building, three roofed buildings, two conjoined enclosures and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1981).
