Dyce Station [NAT]

This station was situated at the junction of the Buchan branches of the former Great North of Scotland Rly. with the (Inverness-Aberdeen) main line of the same company, which was grouped into the London and North-Eastern Rly. The station opened at the opening of the branch on 17 July 1861, replacing its predecessor (NJ81SE 49) about 400m further N; it closed on 6 May 1968, but was re-opened as an unstaffed halt on 15 September 1984.
