So called because it was thought to be the haunt of fairies, or 'people of peace'.

(Undated) information in NMRS.

(Location cited as NG 278 514). Fairy Bridge, Dunvegan, early 19th century. A small semicircular rubble arch. The alignments of the abutments has recently been altered.

This bridge carries what was apparently the former line of a road over the Bay River. The successor and present bridge (NG25SE 24) is situated 190m to the SSE.
