This monastic settlement includes an unusual double-beehive cell, a grave-enclosure, and a series of larger enclosures or burial grounds. To the right are the remains of a medieval church. There is also a small underground cell, a chapel and a burial-ground with a cross-marked slab, which date to the Early Christian period. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
