Scope and Content Monument to Dame Grizel Stewart, burial aisle, Parish Church, Kilmuir Easter, Highland Kilmuir Easter Parish Church was constructed in its present form in 1797-8 incorporating a pre-existing burial aisle and belfry. The windows and interior were altered in 1903. This is the monument to Dame Grizel Stewart, sister of James Stewart, Earl of Moray. She married Sir Robert Innes in the early 1610s and died in 1634. The monment bears her initials, 'D G S' and those of her husband, 'S R I'. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
