Scope and Content Description of esquisse on the back: In a future of extreme climate change, in Scotland, where tides have risen and land is at a premium, the hard igneous rock under Edinburgh Castle is utilised as a foundation for an elevated settlement. This strong yet precarious proposal is protected from tidal surges and utilises wind and passive solar energy however, conditions are cramped and supplies have to be shipped in from other areas.
